
Cpl. S.W. Purdue of the Grantsville Detachment of the WV State Police is requesting information regarding a hit and run incident around the hours of 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 24th, 2025.

A metal garage along Route 16 in the 5700 block of South Calhoun Highway was struck by a vehicle that took out the center beam, caving both of the double garage doors, narrowly missing a Toyota truck and touching into a 1931 Ford Coupe.

Owners, Mike and Kay Richards were not home at the time, nor were the neighbors across the street. The garage is located beside Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
