A late Sunday night accident in the Pleasant Hill area did considerable damage to the truck and trailer of Gilford Vanhoose. Westfall’s Wrecker Service were notified around midnight but could not move the vehicle until the State Police were notified. Sgt. Weekley of the West Virginia State police investigated the accident and Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched for traffic control.
According to Mikayla, Mr. Vanhoose’s wife, he was injured but is doing much better. “God was him and keeping him safe,” she said.
