Deidre Purdy, President of the local Calhoun Democratic Executive Committee contacted Ridgeview News requesting that a recent rumor regarding signs that had been placed around the community be cleared up as to their origin. She would like the community to know that the Calhoun Democratic Executive Committee had nothing to do with the printing or placement of those signs and the committee thinks it is a despicable act by whom ever put them up. The Democratic Executive Committee supports both the School and Emergency Services Levy.

Daniels Run Accident Reported
An ATV accident was dispatched Saturday evening by Calhoun Control for the area near 3159 Daniels Run Road, Millstone, WV reportedly ending in a fatality. The Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department and Minnie Hamilton Health Systems Ambulance was dispatched to scene with Trooper D.C. Moore of the West Virginia State Police as the investigating officer.
