April Dawn Carpenter appeared on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 for entry of plea on the charge of Grand Larceny. A plea agreement was entered into with the defendant facing one to ten years in the penitentiary or regional jail for 1 year and a fine of $2,500.00. In return for her plea there would be no opposition to a bond reduction allowing Carpenter to enter a treatment program in Romney, WV.
