Calhoun Youth Wrestlers Hit the Podium at State Championships

Seventeen Calhoun Youth, sixteen boys and one girl, wrestled at the Championship match in the Charleston Civic Center held by West Virginia Youth Wrestling Association. A total of 1,380 wrestlers, 86 teams, in 6 age divisions wrestled with Calhoun County placing 28th overall. Those taking the podium were:

Isaac Fitzwater- 6 and under HWT – 5th place
Cooper Summers-10u 75lbs 6th place
Nic Butler- 12u 145 2nd place
Ezra Anderson- 12u 115lbs 3rd place
Paisley Cummings- Girls 12u 77-87 lbs 2nd place
Brantley Schoolcraft- 8u 75lbs 8th place

Calhoun Youth are coached by Brian Ritchie, Michael Fitzwater, Bryan Gungle and Andrew Cummings. Congratulations to Calhoun Youth and their Coaches!
