American Pickers Visit “Cliff’s Museum” in Harrisville

Jersey Jon, Cliff & Sue Weese, Mike Wolf

Have you ever visited the biggest car museum in West Virginia? Did you even know it existed? Cliff Weese of Harrisville, WV slowly but surely accumulated the largest collection in West Virginia and one of the most interesting of collections for automobile lovers or almost anyone!

The 13,000 sq. ft. building houses predominately West Virginia collectables including (as far as it’s known) the most complete collection of West Virginia licenses. Other collections in ‘The Building’  are chauffeurs badges, drivers licenses, registration cards, automobile titles, state inspection stickers, automobile club badges, license plate attachments,  DAV & other keychain licenses,  cereal box & other play licenses, West Virginia travel guides, state issued road maps, and oil company issued road maps.

The trip down memory lane is like stepping back into childhood decades ago when life was so much simpler and the latest trends would be the equivalent of a pencil in comparison to modern technology. But, you also didn’t have to hire a mechanic to change the time on your clock. There wasn’t even a clock in the vehicle!

Cliff’s collection is not limited to automobiles, but rather anything that has to do with automobiles. That’s what makes it such an interesting place to explore.

Cliff’s Museum is privately owned by Cliff and Sue Weese. There is no admission fee to view this expansive collection of car memorabilia which has been a life-long passion. The museum is a wholesome family-oriented environment and is open by appointment or by chance. Cliff and Sue can be contacted in the following ways:
