Calhoun Co. Wood Festival Announce Parade Marshalls

​Jack and Melva Stull have been lifelong resident of Calhoun County. They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year. They have two children, Jack Stull, Jr. of Columbus, OH and Charmain Siers (Rodney) of Chloe, WV. They have four grandchildren; Justin & Becca Siers and Drew & Ashley Taylor, three great grandchildren; Carson, Gracie and Kimber.

Jack & Melva are members of Victory Baptist Church, where she has taught classes from K-Jr. High, Vacation Bible School and is in the choir. They also attend Marietta Bible Center Church where they support a lot of Marietta Bible students and support several missionaries in the Philippines.

Jack graduated from Calhoun High School in 1971. He retired from BFG Aerospace with 30 years of service. He has attended various Federal Aviation seminars in different states and was also on the golf team. He is a former member of the Lions Club.

Melva graduated from Calhoun High School in 1969. She graduated from the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center in 1985. She was a former Queen of the Red Hat Society, Band Booster Vice-President, Pleasant Hill Homemakers, Zumba, volunteer for FRN and the hospital gift shop. She taught Awanas.

They are currently active in the Calhoun Republican Executive Committee, The 1982 Foundation, Bootstrap program and a big supporter of the new pool.

They have lived their entire lives in Calhoun County. They have seen a lot of changes in the town and schools, they are happy to see so many new people moving to our area and bringing new ideas with them. They have hope for a brighter future for Calhoun … but realize it is going to take people working together.

They enjoy camping, boating, traveling, entertaining missionaries, participating in craft shows and community events with family and friends.
