With Veteran’s Day fast Approaching, it is a good time to consider a donation toward the Wreaths Across America Day.
This year, National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Join the local Civil Air Patrol, Calhoun’s Composite Squadron, as they serve to remember the veterans buried in the cemeteries of Calhoun County.. Along with more than two million other volunteers and supporters in all 50 States and abroad, the Cadets and Senior members will gather to Remember, Honor and Teach.

You can Sponsor a veteran’s wreath in honor of or in memory of a loved one who served in our armed forces. Or, sponsor and allow us to designate a recipient among the millions of heroes who rest in honored glory.
Honor
A Ceremony will be held in Grantsville on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at noon to honor the veterans in our Community. Please join us and encourage your organization or church to attend this very special event.
No matter where they served or how Wreaths Across America strives to ensure that no one is forgotten. Please consider sponsoring a wreath and add another name to our roll call of heroes.
Locally, please contact Major Donna Umstead of the Civil Air Patrol, Calhoun Composite Squadron or Make checks out to: Wreaths Across America. They cost $17.00 each, and can be listed with a name or allow the Calhoun Squadron to place them on the grave of a local veteran.
