Earlier last week I ask the parents/guardians of the children involved in the March 4th incident to update the community on how their children were doing.
Child number two is a 14 year old freshman who was sitting int he area of the back axels when the bus in rolled. She suffered whiplash a concussion and bruises on her right side where she was thrown to the other side of the bus. According to her mother she is back in band practice but stays away from the back of the bus when riding to school. She feels more confident riding up front. She has stopped riding the afterschool bus, still having issues of trust with a busdriver she’s unfamiliar with.
The purpose of running these updates is not to keep March 4th in our minds, but to keep these families in our prayers and help us to stay connected as a Community.
