Chester Calvin Cunningham, 69, of Sinking Springs, Mt. Zion, WV, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
He was born October 18, 1954, a son of the late. Lester Leonard and Willodene Summers Cunningham. He was a US Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his late sisters Leona Stemple Dueley and Helen Johnson.
Chester is survived by his son Jesse (Sarah) Fry; daughter Janie (William) Ohse; son Christopher (Breeann) Cunningham; daughter Elizabeth (Larry Sprouse) Tennant; sister Jeani Cunningham Whipkey of Grantsville, WV, sister Joann (Carl) Lawson of Birch River, WV; sister Bonnie (Joe) Johnson of Arnoldsburg, WV; sister Betty (Jr.) Deuley of Grantsville, WV; and Marvin and Peggy Stemple of Arnoldsburg, WV.
Chester had 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was loved by many people and family. He will be missed greatly.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
