The Elizabeth-Wirt VFD Firecracker 5k fun run/walk is always the start to their ice cream social.
Runners can pre-register with the fire department by picking up a registration form at the fire station on Monday nights. This race is also endorsed with the River City Runners. The race begins at 8am and registration begins at 7am on July 6th at their 44th annual ice cream social. Contact Tom Crouser at 304-488-8187 for more info.
