GLENVILLE, WV – Glenville State University FBLA President Charles Copeland III and Vice President Haylen Book advanced to the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America-Collegiate National Conference, Book earns Top 10 honors.
After having a successful stint at the State Leadership Conference in early April where Charles Copeland earned a 2ndplace finish in the Entrepreneurship & Selling category and Book dominated the competition with a 1st place win in Finance & Management. Copeland and Book established themselves as some of WV’s top collegiate business students and punched their tickets to the national conference held in June.
From June 24-27th, Copeland and Book were in Orlando Florida at the FBLA National Conference giving presentations on their projects in their respected categories. Over the three days, both were able to enjoy the experience of representing themselves in front a larger audience, gain leadership and career preparation experience, all while getting a better understanding of how to become successful community-minded business leaders.
At the conclusion of the conference, Haylen Book went on to place 9th in the Management Competition. Proving preparation and understanding of her project, Book earned herself national recognition!
Glenville State University proudly congratulates Ms. Book on this impressive accomplishment and GSU FBLA on an incredible year.
