Creston News Week of August 18th

A black pickup truck impaled on the guardrail at the top of the Creston Hill the other evening.

While the drought continues Creston & Burning Springs had some rain Saturday night & Sunday morning.  This time it was enough to settle the dust.

Lots of folks went to the Wirt County Fair and now it seems that, as a result, all too many acquired Dr. Fauci’s wonderful Wuhan Kung Flu virus.  He said the research was “worth the risk” and he became very rich.  So what if a few million died from his GMO virus; isn’t GMO supposed to be good?  The recent spread in Wirt County was so bad that the Wirt County Court House had to close on Friday and local stores had to call in employees who had scheduled to be off to cover for the sick.  Medical doctors continue to have their credentials revoked for questioning the vaccines or for using drugs like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to treat the disease.  Bill Gates said there were too many people on earth, should be millions, not billions and a UK researcher did note that the “vaccine” is to “thin the herd”.  The government and Pfizer are still promoting “the jab”.  Of course now it is about “bird flu” and monkey pox – there was a case in Pakistan.

Speaking of Elizabeth, the town now actually has a stop light, just like the big “important” places.  Seems a hole came in the Tucker’s Creek bridge so it became a one lane span.  Older folks remember a steel truss structure with a wood floor.

The moon is much closer to earth now that is usually the case so those who want to see a 16% increase in the appearance should look to the sky, especially next week.

Farm reports are due in the county assessor’s office by August 30.  Failure to turn in the reports will make farmland, even low bottoms in the flood plain into valuable development lands, at least for tax purposes.

Cackles gave a big speech in North Carolina to a crowd of 250 [including the press] and said that government mandated price controls were the way that she was going to go, just like was done in USSR, Cuba & Venezuela.  Now both President Trump’s and Sen Vance’s planes have had troubles and the FBI scrubbed the site in Butler Pennsylvania and disposed of the shooter’s body and mum is the word.  To show how nasty the deep state can be, former Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbert, is now on the “terror watch list”, has 4 armed air marshals on any flight she takes and gets the special invasive inspection every time she boards a plane.  AI is said to being used to track folks that the “government” dislikes such as mothers who go to school board meetings and ask questions, Catholics who really believe and who want the traditional Latin Mass, etc.

The Henry Hub price for natural gas is $2.10 but a local producer who sells a significant amount of natural gas to Greylock noted he was getting less than fifty cents.  Mother Hope [ or now perhaps Uncle Warren Buffett] announced that Hastings Station, the fractionation plant were almost all local natural gas goes will be shut down until the end of the month.

The church schism continues with the minister leaving in Elizabeth and opening a new church.  Some Parkersburg area pastors retired and started meeting with the faithful in other venues.  All this has to do with the new “views” on the killing of infants & engaging in activities that might cause one to acquire a disease like monkeypox or mpox as it is now called.  John Wesley, Francis Asbury and other saints are no doubt spinning in their graves.  Of course all this is to destroy the church and, in the big picture, destroy western civilization.

Some while back Marathon Oil put $15 billion into Markwest and the fractionation plants and pipeline system.  The company has been involved in fields “out west” but noted that now the Marcellus & Utica are “very  bullish”.  In Creston the Utica formation is 1100 feet thick.

Aside from eating rose bushes and gardens some local residents have accepted the DNR’s venison as neighbors.  When walking from one house to the next the twin fawns resting under a tree no longer bother to even get up [so as to run away] when the owners walk by.

While some of the brine injection wells across the river from Parkersburg were shut down, it was reported that others have taken up the slack causing concern about leaks miles away from the injection sites.  Tallgrass Energy is one of the big well operators and it was announced that a Canadian retirement program is going to make another big investment in Tallgrass.  Big $$$ talks so why bother recovering the lithium from the brine?  AS the Tee Vee ad says, “I want cash now!”

The price of local Pennsylvania grade crude dipped to $75.65/bbl. With condensate fetching just $57.65/bbl. And Marcellus & Utica light bringing $64.65/bbl.  Gasolene in Parkersburg can now be obtained for under $3/gallon or $126/bbl.  Gasolene is the less valuable part of Pennsylvania and other paraffin based crudes.
