The season has officially started with the Autumn Classic at St. Mary’s High School! 🌟
Vada Barnhart: Medaled in the top 30, finishing 21st with a time of 15:20.34.
Braiden Ferrell: Medaled in the top 30, finishing 24th with a time of 13:06.14.
We have several athletes who are new to XC this year and every single one of them started off the season with great times and new PR’s. 🎉We had two athletes place in the top 30 today, receiving a medal. While their other teammates were not far behind!
Keep in mind there were 77 girls in the middle school girls race and 121 boys in the middle school boys race! That’s a lot of competition!
Middle School Girls Race Highlights:
Brooke Tingler: Finished 36th with a time of 16:30.18, improving her time by an impressive 2 minutes!
Carissa Sands: Finished 37th with a time of 16:30.42, setting a personal record by shaving 11 seconds off last year’s race.
Middle School Boys Race Highlights:
Eli Ferrell: Finished 34th with a time of 13:31.87.
Silas Cunningham: Finished 52nd with a time of 14:15.94.
Zac Smith: Finished 62nd with a time of 14:34.14.
Brody Rowe: Finished 119th with a time of 22:14.37.
