Jerry Dale Hall, 79, of Orma, WV, has passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at home, surrounded by family following an extended illness.
He was born October 21, 1944, to the late Cecil and Merle Owanda Poling Hall.
Jerry is survived by his wife Peggie Lou Hall of Orma, WV. Children: Pamela (Gene) Brown, of Sutton WV, Daniel Hall of Massilion, OH, and Kimberly Hall of Ripley, WV. 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Sister, Glenna(Ronnie) McLaughlin of Arnoldsburg, WV and brother Paul (Suzie) Hall of Grantsville, WV.
In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hall.
Jerry cut timber most of his life and was brilliant with his hands. He enjoyed to tinker. He loved to hunt with his family, trapping wildlife, and the outdoors. He loved to blast old country music. He liked to help those who needed it. He loved to watch his great-grandchildren play and being around his family.
Jerry’s funeral service will be conducted by Stump. Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, held at Albert’s Chapel United Methodist Church (1879 Sand Ridge road, Grantsville, WV, 26147) at 1PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 11:30AM-1PM for friends and public. Interment will follow in the Poling Marks Cemetery.
