Kathirn Mae Bunner (Ferrell), 61, of Munday, WV, passed away September 15, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Calhoun County on January 6, 1963, the daughter of the late Dewey and Maxine Ferrell (Sidwell). A 1981 graduate of Calhoun County High School where she played basketball with honors. She was a member of the Millstone Church of Christ and was employed by Wirt County Community of Aging. She as a former employee of Dr. Khoury, Minnie Hamilton Health Care, Aging with Grace, and several nursing homes in Glenville and Parkersburg.
She is survived by her husband Micheal Bunner of 43 years; children Justin Bunner and Matthew Bunner; grandchildren Nicole Bunner and Ethan Bunner; sisters Loretta Bell (Ike), Beretta Arthur (Denny), and Darlene Ulderich (Todd); brothers Carl Ferrell (Donna), Calvin Ferrell, Gary Ferrell (Cathy), Larry Ferrell, Joe Ferrell (Becky), and Alvin Ferrell and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Junior Ferrell, and Albert (Bub) Ferrell.
A service will be held at Millstone Church of Christ in Mount Zion, WV, at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, with James Ullom officiating. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 pm.
