Betty Ruth Fields, 62, of Spencer, WV, passed away September 12, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born September 24, 1961, in Roane County, WV, a daughter of the late Charles William and Margaret Ruth Butler Yearian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Charles Edward (Eddie) Yearian, sister Vallery Ann Deal, great-granddaughter Sophia Puffenbarger, and great-grandson Braydan Puffenbarger.
Betty’s surviving family are: daughters Margaret Marie Doolittle and Susie Hope Hall (Paul) of Grantsville, WV; granddaughters Seaira Miller and Shiann Shackelford; great-grandchildren Jackson Cline, Olivia Shackelford, Jocie Shackelford, and Kayleigh Shackelford; sister Nora Hope Swisher of Grantsville, WV; nieces Rebecca Louise Swisher and Michelle Dawn Yearian; nephews Anthoney Leon Yearian and Michael Lenny Blake; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Kevin Church officiating.
