Mary Kay (Ball) Dalby, 75, passed away unexpectedly sometime between January 3 and 6, 2025, at her home in Alpharetta, GA. She was born on February 21, 1949, to Loraine Virginia (Stump) Ball and George Edward Ball. She grew up in Grantsville, WV, and was graduated from Calhoun County High School in 1967. Mary Kay attended Glenville State College and was graduated from Morris Harvey College in 1972.
Following her graduation, she went to El Dorado, AR, where she taught language arts, speech, and journalism for 2 years. She then returned to Grantsville where she taught at Calhoun County High School for 10 years. She was currently employed at Compassionate Care Hospice in Roswell, GA.
Mary Kay was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Ronald Dalby whom she married January 12, 1980. She is survived by her sister Margaret (Maggie) Bennett and her brother John Lewis Ball (Deb), both of Grantsville; niece Erin Lynn (Bennett) Springston and nephews Christopher George Bennett (Sara) and John Edward Ball (Danielle).
