Everett Franklin “Danny” Lane, 64, passed away January 13, 2025 surrounded by his children at Minnie Hamilton Hospital.
He was born February 9, 1960 to the late Ralph and Arlie Lane.
Danny was an avid outdoorsman who loved musky fishing, coon hunting, wood working his tables, willow chairs, and canes and being in the woods looking for ginseng root. He was a hard worker either running heavy equipment or working construction most of his life. He loved being with his family and friends and would do anything to help someone in need.
Danny is survived by his children Nathan (Tanya) Lane of Elizabeth, Arla (Steven) Cunningham of Grantsville, and Nick Lane of Grantsville; his grandchildren Kayleigh, Tori, Raylee of Grantsville and Lorelei, Paisley of Elizabeth, also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life for Danny on February 9, 2025 at the Arnoldsburg Park from 5-7pm. Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, is honored to assist the Lane family with Mr. Lane’s final arrangements.
