Commissioners Lupardus, Arthur, and McCumbers are asking the citizens of Calhoun and surrounding areas to help support those affected by the devastating floods in McDowell and Mercer Counties. We are collecting donated items to be delivered to those in need. If you are able to contribute, you can drop off items at the Country Kitchen in Big Otter or contact one of the three commissioners. Let’s come together and support our neighbors in this difficult time. Once a load is collected, it will be delivered. Thank you, Delegate Green and McDowell Commissioner Cecil. Plus, let’s thank all those individuals who are volunteering during this countless time and pray for those who were affected by the flooding.
