
Curtis Arthur Gregory, 84, of Big Springs, WV, passed away February 25th, 2025, at Minnie Hamilton Long Term Care in Grantsville, WV.
He was born, July 17, 1940, in Franklin, North Carolina, the son of the late Dewey and Ivalee Gregory Jennings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Pearl, with whom he co-owned Gregory’s Exxon in Big Springs.
Also preceding him in death was brother, Jimmy Eugene Gregory, brother, William B. Gregory, Sr. and sister, Gracie Wright. He was a member of Beech Valley Methodist Church and was a longtime member of the Grantsville Lions Club, where he served in several offices and enjoyed helping with the bingo booth.
He is survived by his son, Curtis (Lisa) of Ripley, son, Trevie (Virginia Ann) of Parkersburg, daughter, Lisa (David) of Evans and son, Jimmy of Big Springs; grandchildren, Triea Sadaqa, Nicole Smith (Ben), Trevie C. Gregory, David L. Foster (Caitlyn), Rome Gregory (Aubrianna), Ryan Gregory (Alyssa), Levi Gregory, Lexi Gregory and 12 twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, 26147, officiated by Rev. Rick Metheney. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2nd from 1-3:00pm. A private burial service will be held later at the family cemetery in Big Springs.
