Over the weekend, the Calhoun County Wood Festival hosted two pageants and crowned 6 new Wood Festival Queens. On Saturday, May 3, Hallie Mace, daughter of Wade and Kim Mace of Millstone was crowned Queen Flora LXIII, Dellah Watson, daughter Jarred and Marcie Watson of Newark was crowned Little Miss Wood Festival and Addison Ervin, daughter of Jared and Haley Ervin of Cottageville was crowned Jr. Miss Wood Festival. Then on Sunday, May 4 Taylor Randolph, daughter of Michael and Carissa Randolph of Ravenswood was crowned the 2025 Miss Wood Festival. Chiara Brenneman, daughter of Randy and Julie Brenneman of Mt. Zion was crowned Miss Preteen Wood Festival and Eliana White, daughter of Cheri and Josh White of Arnoldsburg was crowned Miss Teen Wood Festival. These 6 lovely ladies will reign over the 63rd annual Wood Festival which will kick off on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in Grantsville, WV. Watch for more festival information.
Others winning awards on Saturday were overall People’s choice winner, Kelcie Wilson. Queen Flora Miss Congeniality, Lana Laughlin, Most Photogenic, Lana Laughlin, and 1st runner up, Mariah Taylor. Little Miss Wood Festival Most photogenic, Ainsley Davis, 3rd Runner up, 2nd Runner up Ensley Brown, 1st Runner up Ainsley Davis. Jr. Miss Wood Festival Most Photogenic, Seanna Arnold, 3rd Runner up, Linzy Shamblin, 2nd Runner up, Mila Cottrell, 1st Runner up, Kendall Richards.
Others winning awards on Sunday were overall People’s choice winner, Graceyn Wine and overall Miss Congeniality, Addison Laughlin. Miss Preteen Wood Festival most photogenic, Raelyn Arnold, 3rd Runner up, Emma Hill, 2nd Runner up, Graceyn Wine and 1st runner up, Presley Smith. Miss Teen Wood Festival most photogenic, Sophie Radabaugh, 2nd Runner up, Kaleigha Morris, and 1st Runner up, Sophie Radabaugh. Miss Wood Festival most photogenic, Peyten McKown, 2nd Runner up, Addison Laughlin, and 1st Runner up, Peyten McKown.
