The Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center construction class will have a ribbon cutting ceremony and Star Gazing Cabin dedication on Thursday, April 28th starting at 1:00 pm at the Calhoun County Park. Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center culinary program, Coyote Beautiful, will provide catering from 1-3 pm at the barn. The cabin will be dedicated to William Etling Sr, known to his friends as “Big Bill”. Bill is a lifelong family friend who was an avid sportsman. He was a skilled trade worker that led a generation of workers whose skills are some of the highest in demand today.

Bennett Qualifies for State Golf Tournament
Landon Bennett, who plays on the Calhoun Middle High School Golf Team, has qualified for the State Golf Tournament to be held next week at Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling. At Regionals on September 26th, Landon placed 2nd in Individual competition with a score of 86 at Riverside Golf Club.
Calhoun Cross Country earns spots as CWVAC 2nd Team All Conference Runners
