Lynch Jailed following DPO Violation and Two Other offenses


On Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at approximately 3 p.m., Cpl. S. W. Perdue of the Grantsville Detachment of the West Virginia
State Police received a public service regarding a victim who had contacted the caller and advised that Charles Lynch, hereinafter referred to as the accused, was in the house with victim who said she felt uncomfortable around him and advised there was an active DVP against the accused. The caller advised that once she seen the text from the victim she contacted law enforcement. At that time Trooper Perdue verified that there was an active protection order against the defendant.

Trooper Perdue traveled to the residence located at in Arnoldsburg and upon arrival was met by the victim who stated that Charles Lynch had just left. The Trooper then verified that Charles Lynch had been there with the victim of a Domestic Violence order for which he was forbidden to have contact. Lynch is currently being held in the WV Central Regional Jail on a $4,500 bond, awaiting trial in Calhoun Magistrate court having been charged with (1) Violation of a Protective Order, (2) Possession of a Controlled Substance and Harrassment.
