Prosecuting Attorney Hicks’ Office Announces Calhoun Indictments

The following indictments were returned by the Calhoun Grand Jury on Wednesday, May 13th. An indictment is not a presumption of guilt. Defendants are innocent until proven guilty.

The following indictments are listed by indicting officers:

Jerry Glen McKown JR- 1 count Felony -Persons Prohibited possessing Firearms, 1 count misdemeanor – Possession Controlled Substance 

Samuel E. Elmore- 1 count  Felony  – Fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference, 1 count misdemeanor- operating an ATV in excess of 25MPH Speed Limit 

Travis S. Boggs- 1 count Felony   – DUI causing Serious Bodily Injury, 1 count  Felony  – Child Neglect creating Risk of Serious Bodily Injury or death
