Terry Eugene Robinson, 74, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away at his home Saturday, May 16, 2026.
He was born at Nobe, WV, May 19, 1951, a son of the late Waitman and Eva Kight Robinson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Randolph and Melvin Robinson and his lovely sisters Virginia Metz, Genevieve Davis, and Lorene Robinson.
Terry was a devoted Christian, husband, father and grandfather. He always made a point to share the Bible with his children. His prayers to bring Terry Jr. to Christ kept him safe until he was saved. That was his most important job as a father. He loved the simple pleasures in life like a bike ride or a walk, fellowshipping with his family about his childhood, politics, his Cleveland Browns, and cars (mostly Fords).
He was married to his high school sweetheart, Charlotte Jones Robinson, for 55 years. They were best friends that spent their entire marriage loving and taking care of their children. He enjoyed the day to day with his “Little Woman”. They could always be found on walks around the Wood County City Park.
In addition to his wife, left to cherish Terry’s memory are his children Terry Robinson, Jr. and Christina Houston and her husband, Dundee; and his grandchildren Julian, Madeline, and Hayden.
In his later years, he spent many days maintaining his family property with his son Terry. He was a great storyteller and had the most incredible stories of his childhood that he loved to share with the family. He and his son spent countless hours talking politics, the Bible, and football as well. He was always loving and supporting to Christina and her family from afar. He loved his three grandchildren with everything he had and they brought him great joy. His presence on Earth will be greatly missed. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we are promised to meet again one day. Now he is walking the streets of Heaven and rejoicing for the life he made during his time here. Until we meet again…
