Connie dedicated many years of service to the Wirt County Board of Education, where she faithfully served in several roles, including custodian, cook, and teacher’s aide. Her kindness, patience, and compassionate heart touched the lives of countless students and their families.
Beyond her work with the school system, Connie lovingly cared for and babysat well over 30 children throughout the Wirt County area, treating each one as if they were her own. Her nurturing spirit and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on generations of families.
Connie enjoyed spending time searching for treasures at yard sales, but nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by her family. Whether gathered for holidays, celebrations, or simply enjoying one another’s company, she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, caring nature, unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.
