After being selected as the Worlds Mrs. Mid Atlantic Tourism 2022 Queen, Calhoun resident Melissa West has set her sights on a bigger stage July 22-24, 2022 in Tennessee in hopes of drawing awareness to the importance of Foster Care and the need for more foster families.

The Worlds Miss Tourism pageant is a community service event, encouraging all contestants to help their communities. For more information on Worlds Miss Pageants please go to www.misstourismpageants.com

During the competition in Tennessee, Mrs. West will be competing against women from all over the world. I want to thank pageant directors Gary Beamer & Teri Moore Alexander for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of the Tourism Family.

Melissa is the daughter of the late Denver & Kay Nicholas of Orma. She is married to Tracy West. She is 1995 graduate of Calhoun County High School and 2003 graduate of Glenville State College.
