Following the Calhoun Commission meeting and the discussion of JCFilms making a movie in Calhoun County, Melissa West of the Calhoun Chronicle and businessman Eric Lupardus reached out to the film company for further discussion. The two (and Ridgeview News) were invited to an impromptu Sunday morning meeting with Jason Campbell and Dean Cain (formerly known as Superman).
Melissa, Emma Howell, Eric and Brandy Lupardus, duaghter Kamri Richards and Hobie Holbert, traveled to Buckhannon, where JCFilms is currently in production of Hanks Christmas Wish 2. While there they discussed the possibilities of film topics in Calhoun where Dean Cain requested they “make it happen!”
During their time all of the Calhoun guests were invited to be extras in the film and participated in a City Hall scene.
The possibility of making the film in Calhoun is on the January agenda of the Calhoun County Commission .
