This is a developing story that Ridgeview News attempted to verify the reasoning of on Friday through multiple agencies without success. The office of Sheriff Warren Basnett removed all ambulances from the EMS Stations and parked them in Grantsville at the old Calhoun Banks drive thru lot location. An unverified source informed Ridgeview News that Julie Sears has resigned as Calhoun EMS Director but still holds the title of OES Director.
The Calhoun County Commission meets Monday, September 12, 2022 at 9 a.m. in the Little Courtroom of Calhoun County Courthouse where this will no doubt be a matter of discussion. If further information is confirmed it will post to Ridgeview accordingly.
