Betty Faynell Wagoner, 87, of Big Bend, WV, passed away January 15, 2025.
She was born November 10, 1937 to the late James O. and Lola E. Cox Kirby.
Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and being with family and friends. She was a member of Spruce Hollow Community Church. Betty was loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Roberts and Regina (Russell) Hupp of Creston, WV; her grandchildren, Travis (Lisa) Martin of Creston, WV; Selena (Tommy) Cumberledge of Sissonville, WV; Darris Hupp of Seattle, WA; and Chelsie (Adam) Sholes of Charleston, WV; her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Colt, John, Camryn, Tyson, Kennedy, Asher and Finley; and her sister, Wanda Moore of Mogadore, OH.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wagoner; her son-in-law, Edward Roberts; her brothers, Glennis Kirby and Dennis Kirby; and her sisters, Mestil Richards, Colleen Gainer and Maxine Eagle.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 19 at 2:00 pm at Stump Funeral Home and Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday. Interment will be in the Wagoner Cemetery on Yellow Creek.
