Calhoun’s annual Wood Festival Event will be June 5-8, 2024 with a schedule packed full of entertainment and fun for the entire family.

Wednesday, June 5, 2024

• 5:00 p.m. – Registration for Baby Pageant
• 6:00 p.m. – Calhoun County Wood Festival Baby Pageant
• 6:00 p.m. – Carnival opens
• Mechanical Bull Riding – Grantsville VFD fundraiser
• 6:00 p.m. – Lions Club Bingo

Thursday, June 6, 2024

• Noon – Booths Open
• 7:00 p.m. – Opening ceremonies, crowning of the Woodchuck Kings and Queens, presentation of Wood Festival Royalty, introduction of this year’s parade marshals and the 2024 Charlie Whipkey Spirit of Wood Festival
• 7:30 p.m. Frosty Mountain

Friday, June 7, 2024

• 10:00 a.m. – Booths Open
• 6:00 p.m.  – Armwrestling
• 6:30 p.m.  Matt Vanfossin
• 8:30 pm – Fleetwood Macked “Fleetwood Mack Tribute”

Saturday, June 8, 2024

• 7:00 a.m. – Registration for 5K and Kids Run.
• 8:00 a.m. – Noon   Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at Lions Club Building
• 8:30 a.m. – Calhoun County Wood Festival 5K and Kids Run (Sponsored by Grantsville Foodland)
• 10:00 – Line-up for Parade at Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department
• 11:30 – Calhoun County Wood Festival Grand Parade
• 12:30 noon – registration for Car Show (Court Street, near Rainbow Hotel Lot)
• 1:00 p.m. Calhoun County Wood Festival Car Show. 
• ​2:00 p.m. Cornhole Tournament (near CCCOA) 
• 5:00 p.m. – Grantsville Conservatory of Music
• 6:30 p.m. – The Johnny Staats Project
• 9:00 p.m. – The Davisson Brothers Band
• 11:00 p.m. – Grand Fireworks Display sponsored by Calhoun Banks.
