On October 14th, 2023, the Calhoun County Middle School Cross Country team, competed in the CWVAC Cross Country Championships at Ravenswood.
The competition was extremely tough and included larger teams from George Washington, Summersville, Clay Co., Braxton Co., Ravenswood, South Harrison, and Webster Co.
During this competition, two Calhoun County Middle School runners earned spots as CWVAC 2nd Team All Conference Runners.
Placing 13th was Carissa Sands at 16:11, and placing 19th was Brooke Tingler at 18:13. This 1.8 mile Middle School Girls Championship competition consisted of 30 runners from the various schools.
