Chasity (Bell) Shock is a Candidate for the 2025 Grantsville Town Council Election.
Born and raised in Calhoun County, I have lived in Grantsville for the last five years, and spent a great deal of my childhood here as well. During the days when babies were still delivered at our hospital, I was born in Grantsville.
While in high school, I majored in criminal justice, having graduated from Calhoun County High School in 2004.
At 40, I am employed at Mom’s Place Too, where I have completed food handler’s certification, and have worked for the past seven years. I’ve enjoyed helping with the community Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant since we began putting it on, and am glad for the opportunity to do a little something to give back to the community, and to bring people together. I’ve also volunteered at Community Resources Inc., and at the recycling center over the years.
As a candidate for town council, I’m committed to the community, its residents, and its future-I want to see good things happen here, and I’m willing to work hard, and I will help make our town a better and more prosperous place.
