MOUNT ZION – The Calhoun County High School Class of 2004 is holding its 20 Year Reunion the weekend of October 11 & 12, 2024 in Mt. Zion, WV, and all classmates are now invited to RSVP to the event.
Currently, the Reunion Committee is asking anyone who wants to attend to go to the Reunion Website at https://myevent.com/cchs200420th and register under the Classmates page. In early September, the tickets page will be opened so that classmates may pay a small fee that will 100% go to the administration of the event.
The class is also welcoming sponsors from businesses owned or operated by 2004 alumni. Visit the Sponsorship page to make your donation to the event.
The weekend’s festivities will start at the middle/high school around 4 pm on Friday evening, giving classmates and their families the chance to tour the building. That evening, they’re welcome to attend the Calhoun/Clay football game at the high school field, and seating will be available in a designated area.
On Saturday, classmates and their families are invited to the Calhoun County Park Barn for lunch at noon. The afternoon will have time for yard games, graduation video features, and waxing nostalgic. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert to share, any favorite games (like cornhole or Giant Jenga, for example), and any drinks you would want for the day.
Saturday, October 12 is also the 1982 Foundation’s Fall Festival, to be held at Avalon (the old Calhoun High School in Grantsville), so when the reunion starts to wind down, everyone is welcome to attend the Fall Festival and see what past Alumni can make happen in our hometown.
