Edwin Warder Butler, 75, of Orma, W.Va., died Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, W.Va., after an extended illness.
He was born on January 21, 1949, at Orma, the son of the late Victor A. and Madeline Wears Butler.
Edwin was a retired 43-year employee of Quality Castings, Orrville, Ohio.
His pastimes included fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Jean Tucker Butler; daughter, Vicky Valentine of Rifle, Colo.; granddaughter, Kaylee Jane Valentine; sister, Sharon Settle of Orma; niece, Kristie Snider of Orma; nephew, Benjamin Settle also of Orma.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Orma Church, Orma. The burial will be in the Orma Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
