It is with great sadness that the family of Emily Anne Metheney announces her passing on Friday, March 13, 2026.
She was born on August 31, 1997, in Spencer to her parents, Vicki Lynn Cadle Metheney and Glenn Allen Metheney.
Emily was preceded in death by her two infant children, Gabriel Elias Farrell and Marylyn Kate Metheney.
A daughter, granddaughter, aunt and sister to those on earth, she will be missed by all who knew her. Emily had a love for all types of music. She had an adventureous spirit that everyone could see. For employment she had currently been working as a cook at Blanch’s Family Dinner in the Clendenin area. She was all heart and was heartbroken over losing her two children to illnesses. Her family knows she is in Heaven now, loving on her little ones.
Left to cherish her memories are her parents; brothers, Parks Metheney and Cody Allen Metheney and wife, Shelby; maternal grandmother, Bessie Cadle; paternal grandparents, Troxal and Connie Metheney; nephew, Rowen Metheney; niece, Odessa Metheney, numerous friends, and her loving Schnauzer dog, Rey.
Her visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday March 24, 2026, at Arnoldsburg Community Center.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Community Center with Pastor Chris Stout officiating.
Her burial will be in the Coen Cemetery, Nebo.
