Tea tree essential oil stops bacterial activity. Tea Tree is a wonderful addition to your first aid kit and to have on hand in the home for small wounds or itchy skin.
To 4 ounces of purified water, add 40 drops of tea tree essential oil into a dark-colored glass spray bottle and shake well to blend.
First rinse the wound with water or, if not near a water source, irrigate the wound well with the spray for effective cleansing.
