Homesteading Event: Instructors Needed

Want to help keep the heritages of the past alive? This Years 1982 Foundation Fall Festival on the Avalon is an opportunity for local and regional experienced homesteaders to share their wisdom with the current and upcoming generations!

Opportunities for those interested in how to save money, learn how to utilize your resources and those available locally. Watch and participate with skilled artisans, craftsman, cooks and other homesteading experts. Browse vendors, listen to music and eat the foods of local chefs while enjoying the day with your family.

However, to make this event happen, we need those with experience to volunteer to share their wisdom. If you’re an expert in any of the homesteading skills listed below, and you’d be interested in taking ownership of our community and sharing your wisdom, PLEASE! contact Shari Johnson at talk2shari@gmail.com.
