Free Hunter!
When my MAGA critics object to my writing, no matter whatthe subject, a constant response is “HUNTER BIDEN!”
Hunter Biden is, of course, the President’s only living son. When he was almost 3, he lost his mother and sister when a tractor trailer broadsided their vehicle. Hunter and his older brother Beau were critically injured but survived. Hunter suffered a fractured skull and severe traumatic brain injury.
As an adult, Hunter Biden graduated from Yale Law in 1996. His older brother Beau, who was the Delaware Attorney General, died of a glioblastoma brain tumor in 2015. Shortly after that, Hunter broke down. He has admitted both drug and alcohol abuse, failure to pay his taxes, and indiscriminate sexual encounters during that time.
Hunter underwent drug and alcohol rehab. The $1.4 million in back taxes has been repaid.
But who is HUNTER BIDEN!, whose name is wielded by MAGAs like the Sword of Damocles? He is the hobby horse the House Oversight Committee is riding hard, hoping desperately to find some corrupt connection between Hunter and Joe. If only they could use Hunter to impeach Joe.
The Oversight/Sideshow Committee has spun a tale in which, from 2014 to 2019, when Hunter Biden was on the board at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, he used Joe, who was VP through 2016 to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma.
Two Republican-led Senate committees investigated this story. Their report found no smoking guns. Committee chair, Sen. Ron Johnson called it a “misperception on the part of the public”to think there would be any. Why ever would we think that?
The MAGA tale continues, though, that money Hunter Biden earned in Ukraine and in China was funneled to Joe Biden as a payoff for something or other.
The MAGA Sideshow committee has examined more than 120,000 emails from Hunter’s laptop and hundreds of thousands of pages of financial documents. (Her email! His laptop!) The intrepid investigators found one email from someone to Hunter saying “10 held by H for the big guy?” If only they could prove that the “big guy” was Joe. They haven’t, but they sold a lot of T-shirts with the phrase.
Somewhere there’s a tall fat man looking for his money.
A Delaware grand jury investigated Hunter and found no evidence that Joe was the “Big Guy” or that there were any payments made to Joe. Oh, except the repayment of a car loan. (Not making this up.)
Last Wednesday, Hunter appeared with his lawyers at the committee as it prepared to find him in contempt for refusing to comply with a subpoena for closed-door testimony. Hunter was ready to testify in public.
The Gentle Lady from South Carolina, Rep. Nancy Mace, screamed at him, “You have no balls to come up here.” This appears inaccurate as it would seem he did have the balls to appear. Mace also shrieked “white privilege.” Perhaps these arejust words gentle ladies yell out when provoked or disturbed.
The Gentle Lady from Georgia, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene then provided some actual evidence that Hunter Biden did have balls. Greene showed poster-size pictures of Biden’s engorged penis and insisted they be entered into the record, claiming itwas evidence of sex trafficking.
Last year Gentle Lady Greene entered nude photos of Hunter Biden into the committee record. The ladies’ prurient salaciousness heightens the sideshow atmosphere. Hurry in, ladies and gents, to see pictures of our naked target.
What could the committee discover in closed-door hearings more personal and private than the materials Greene has already provided? The committee has the dick pics.

We say Trump is corrupt. Trump says Joe Biden is corrupt.
We say, “Trump Crime Family.” Trump says, “Biden Crime Family.”
Trump was impeached twice for high crimes and misdemeanors? Impeach Biden!
So what if a court found the Trumps ran a fraudulent charity, collecting money for sick kids and using it for legal fees and 6-foot-tall picture of Donald? So what if the Trump Organization with its officers, Donald, Eric, and Don, Jr.., were found guilty of fraudulently inflating the values of their business interests?
Trump: Everyone does it. That’s the way real estate works. If Joe Biden isn’t corrupt and a fraud, then he’s a sucker and a loser.
The Sideshow investigation will never stop because the point is not truth. The point is simply to keep throwing out new stories – like fish to seals – that look like evidence of something to anyone who already believes Biden must be guilty.
Trump to Sideshow: “If you say it enough and keep saying it, they’ll start to believe you.” “As long as you keep repeating something, it doesn’t matter what you say.”
Trump will get his revenge on Joe Biden for beating him in 2020. Joe Biden loves his son despite Hunter being, according to Trump, “a loser.” A malignant narcissist doesn’t understand love, but instinctively knows how best to hurt someone. Targeting Hunter is sweet revenge. And maybe if they go hard enough on Hunter, he will relapse.
Who is “HUNTER BIDEN!”? Just another scary Trump invention, an enemy manufactured from his dark subconscious, a weapon with which to bully Joe and captivate the circus crowd.
