
Deputy C.R. Stephens filed a complaint in the Magistrate Court of Calhoun County charging David Glen Jones of South Calhoun Highway, Mount Zion, WV with two counts of Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
The complaint detailed two purchases made from David Glen Jones, at his residence, of methamphetamine by a confidential, reliable informant. The informant would contact Jones to ascertain if he had substances to sell. Before making the purchases the Deputy would meet with the informant at a secure location where their vehicle would be searched, marked money would be given and the informant would be outfitted with audio/and or video recording devices. After the purchase was made, the informant returned to a predetermined location and provided the Deputy with approximately 0.281 and 0.371 grams of methamphetamine.
A warrant was issued on April 2nd, 2026. David Glen Jones was arrested and taken to the WV Central Regional Jail where he awaits his Preliminary Hearing on April 8th, 2026 at 9 a.m. before Magistrate Lora Davis. Jones’ bond was set at $20,000.
