In Recognition of 100 years of Calhoun High School football The Calhoun County Historical Society will be hosting a Display of Memorabilia from Calhoun’s County High School. A major portion of this display is from the Robert F. Bonar Collection. The museum will be open on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Saturday from 4:30-6:30, prior to the Centennial Bowl Game that will be be played at 7 p.m. on the Wayne Underwood field.

Ferrell Arrested after Preventing Emergency Call
In a complaint filed by Deputy H.M. Stephens on December 13, 2024, she stated that on the same date at approximately 4:26 p.m. she had received a phone call from Calhoun Control, advising that a woman at 7502 North Calhoun Highway had called 911 saying that her son Christopher Ferrell was not acting like himself.
