New Mayor, Recorder and Council Have Been Sworn In

The newly elected officials were given 20 days from the certification of the election to be sworn in to their new positions.

Grantsville Mayor elect, John Villines and the new council will take office July 1st with their first official meeting to be held on July 7th, 2025 at 6 p.m.

According to the Calhoun County Clerk’s office the remaining councilwomen, Rissa Staples, Emilee Morgan and Tonya Cunningham have been sworn in as well.
