Phillips Run Area had a near miss at the home of Nathan and Desma Allison
High winds and thunder storms moved quickly through Calhoun County shortly before noon, but not before taking down several trees across the area, damaging a few roof tops and some near misses on home damage as well as power outages reported in the Minnora area of the West Fork with a restoration of power expected by 4:30 p.m. today.
A tornado warning was issued for Calhoun and surrounding areas until 11:45 a.m. and a flood watch is in effect until 10 p.m. in our area.
