Roberta Mae (Offutt) Wilson, 83, of Big Springs, WV, passed away on May 13, 2024.
She was born November 10, 1940 to the late Robert and Orda Offutt of Mt. Zion, WV.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Goff and husband Frank of Big Springs and Bea Isner and husband Mark of Ripley, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Billy Wilson. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Kelly Goff (Solomon Hutchinson), Joe Goff (Caysee), Jeff Isner (Jessica), and Corey Isner. And also by special great nephew Eric Ritchie (Katie). Great grandchildren are: Gia, Billi, Acer and Eve Goff; Ava, Cohen and Cason Isner; Emeline and Penelope Hutchinson. Roberta is survived by sister Tootsie Thompson and brother David Offutt. Other siblings preceeding her in death are Carroll Offutt, Charles Offutt, Charlene Amick, Darrell Offutt, Jean Harrold, and Garrett Jarvis.
Roberta graduated from Calhoun County High School on May 15, 1958, and married her husband Billy the same evening. She was a 50+ year member of Prosperity Baptist Church and worked for many years at Calhoun General Hospital and Minnie Hamilton Health Care System. Retirement saw her tending her flowers, mowing her yard, volunteering at the food pantry, and
traveling with her daughters and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation in Grantsville, WV, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Ken Heiney officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be at Saunders Cemetery, Big
Springs, WV.
