Following the Ridgeview News post on Monday, February 24th, 2025, property owners Mike and Kay Richards were contacted by an individual who had witnessed the incident where their metal garage building had been severely damaged. According to the eye witness, an unknown person driving a U-Haul truck had backed into the building. The witness did not know that after they had passed, the driver left the scene of the accident without contacting the homeowners.
The West Virginia State police have contacted the West Virginia State Police in hopes this will further their investigation and the person responsible will be found.
