Vickie Lea Malcomb, 69 of Long Shoal Run Road, Burnsville WV departed this life in the late evening hours of Sunday, July 20,2025 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, WV following an extended illness.
She was born May 31,1956 in Sutton, WV daughter of the late Russell Taylor and Phyllis (Knight) Williams.
Vickie was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She is Methodist by faith who loved spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible. In her spare time, Vickie enjoyed going to yard sales, riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and she was a cat lover who got a great deal of pleasure caring for her animals.
Surviving are her 2 children, Mickey Moore (Dale) of Graham, NC and Mikey Malcomb (Chrissy) of Burnsville, 1 brother Tony Williams (Rachel) of Graham, NC, 6 grandchildren, Angela (Doug), Joey (Ciara), Brittany, (Matt) Hannah (Chandler), Michael and Christopher. 4 great grandchildren Skyler, Landry, Leighlyn, Raiden and Paisley Rose on the way.
Also surviving her best friend Ann Malcomb of 36 years and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents Russell and Phyllis, Vickie is preceded in death by her stepfather George Rubel Williams, stepmother Lillian Taylor, sister Darlene Wine and an infant brother Russell Shannon Taylor.
Vickie’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of her life will be conducted later in 2025.
