In a complaint filed in Calhoun Magistrate Court by Corporal D.C Moore, he stated that on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at approximately 12:45 p.m. he had received a domestic complaint at 11559 South Calhoun Hwy, Arnoldsburg.
When Cpl. Moore arrived and spoke with multiple witnesses regarding the incident, they advised that while Amy L. Yoak was arguing she pushed the victim, Cecil Whipkey, to the ground. The witnesses also advised that she also threatened to hit him with a stick, waving it around at him while he was near the residence. One of the witnesses also advised that after the victim walked away, the defendant flipped his wagon of personal belongings over on the bridge, causing his items to scatter and possibly fall into the creek.
The victim has been living with the Amy L. Yoak for several months and is an her uncle.
Cpl. D. C. Moore did not observe any injuries to the victim at that time. The victim is a frail, 55 year old man, and Amy Yoak is a 39 year old female.
Yoak was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Assault and Domestic Battery in case number 23M07M00314.
