💐William Robert “Bill” Duskey

December 5, 1959 – March 14, 2023

William Robert “Bill” Duskey, 63, of Creston, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He was the son of the late Robert “Boyd” and Juanita Tuttle Duskey. He was born in Barberton, Ohio, and was a 1979 graduate of Chippewa High School in Doylestown, Ohio.

Bill worked a variety of jobs during his lifetime, some of which were in local sawmills, BF Goodrich, Flowers Bakery, Burke Parson Bowlby and Stutler Mill and Dozer. He attended Union Baptist Church in Ohio and Cremo Community Church. His hobbies included trapping, gardening, and playing softball. Bill was also an avid Mountaineer sports fan. He lovingly cared for his mother for 7 years as her health declined.

He is survived by his brother Will Duskey; two special cousins Marlene (Wayne) Riggs and Darlene (Dan) Wright; an uncle Ira “Frank” (Martha) Duskey; an aunt Jeanette Smith and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Cremo Church in Cremo, WV. Rev. Delmas Stutler will officiate the funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Wright Cemetery, Calhoun County, WV. Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, WV, was honored to assist the Duskey family.
