The 1982 Foundation has been preparing for the long awaited Grand Opening of the Avalon Campus with a weekend filled with activities and opportunities to view what has been, what is and what will be! It’s time to once again get excited about what Calhoun County has to offer.
Performing at 7 p.m. on October 7th will be Mountain Fury. Calhoun Alumni Bruce Jones plays dobro for the group with Rachel Burge, Mandolin; Eileen Metheney, Guitar and Richie Jones, playing banjo.
Featuring Famous Amos and Frankie4Fingers on Saturday, October 3rd will be the tastiest of gridiron competition. Watch for tickets to the event to be made available soon.
